Nicholas Roy with Discovery Environmental has 20+ years of experience in the environmental consulting industry. The type of facilities he has investigated and/or remediated include retail petroleum stations, industrial facilities, commercial and residential properties, and raw land. 

His expertise as a former LSRP includes:

• Investigation and remediation of sites with contaminants including petroleum associated compounds, chlorinated solvents, metals, pesticides, herbicides, and PFAS

• Proficiency with NJDEP Technical and Administrative Regulations, forms, and associated technical guidance

• Evaluation of all available data to prepare a SOW best suited for the end goal of the property

• Experienced with evaluating downhole geophysical data in identifying discrete sample zones as part of investigating complex fractured bedrock sites

• Experienced with the preparation and online submittal of NJDEP regulatory submittals including PA, SI, RI, RA, and RAO phases
• Field oversight and support for the closure of UST systems in accordance with NJDEP regulations

• Soil, groundwater, and soil vapor/indoor air sampling techniques in accordance with the FSPM

• Performance of Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments for property transactions in accordance with industry standards
